The Royal Canadian Army Cadets of Canada is a strong basis upon my entry into the nursing program. It has taught me many of the same values, morals and ethics that nursing follows. Army Cadets changed me as an individual as it allowed me to develop excellent communication skills as well as professional relationships with those around me. Professionalism was a very important aspect within the army cadet program. the number one skill to develop in order to attain the highest rank possible. Additionally, I also gained 2 medals, which include the medal of excellence, which demonstrates proficiency in all aspects within cadets, and the 5 year service medal - Being involved within the cadet program for 5 years.
